HARP enters next phase

The summaries of the analyses by workstream of the IST phase can be found on HARP's portal. The team chose to put the summaries on the portal because the scope of the reports varies quite a bit. If you would like to see the total report, please contact the Manager of Operations.
The main findings from the IST phase
When all the work flow analyses are side by side, the following findings emerge:
- Per process, there are many differences in the amount of process steps and variation of process steps;
- There is a lack of detailed service and product descriptions within most workflows;
- There are many different roles involved in the processes within the workflows. It is not always clear what role and responsuibility someone has.
- The workload varies within the workflows, in some places it is very high, depending on the processes and context;
- Various systems are used within the workflows, ranging from central systems to specific tools for process support.
The SOLL phase
In the coming period, the program team will work on describing the desired processes. Design teams will be set up for each workflow with employees from departments and institutes who will jointly determine how and which processes will be developed. The design teams are put together by the workflow leaders in consultation with the business managers. In addition, there are process design teams. These are employees who work in a specific process and describe the desired processes step by step. The outcomes are shared in so-called inspiration sessions. All employees from a workflow are invited to these. The dates and times will be planned as soon as the design groups start. We want to have described the design of the desired situation before the summer vacations.
If you have questions about how a specific work stream works, please contact the relevant work stream leaders. The contact details of the work stream leaders are on the portal.

Information sessions
Starting February 17, Sandra van Beek, program director, and two workflow leaders will visit all Fontys locations to inform everyone about the state of affairs and developments within HARP and to answer questions. Afterwards, the most frequently asked questions and answers will be published on the portal and the presentation will also be shared on the portal in a video after the information sessions.
In this newsletter, we again share the invitation.
