The senior qualification examining (ske) course is a continuation of the basic qualification examining (bke) course. You will study test-related issues from your own practice, for example as a member of an exam committee or a member of a test committee/learning plan committee/curriculum committee. You collect evidence for the different qualities and ask your colleagues and peers for feedback.

To attend ske training, it is recommended that you first complete your mandatory bke certification module first. Certification of ske is only possible after obtaining the bke certificate. In order to comply with the ske requirements it helps you perform ske-related tasks in your daily work activities.

Short description

This training prepares you for your ske certification. You will delve into issues from your own practice, for example as a member of an examination board or testing committee.

The ske training is structured as follows:

  • A kick-off interview, in which we go through the training objectives and reflect on your previous knowledge and experience on assessment.

  • A Canvas module with theoretical background information. During the interactive training sessions, learning and developing together is facilitated.
  • During five meetings of three hours each, you collect evidence for each quality in your portfolio. You ask colleagues and peers for feedback. In class you learning process and the results will be discussed.
  • With a virtual voucher of one hour you can request specific (individual) support for your ske-portfolio. You decide if and when you want to make use of this.

The total average time investment is 100 hours.

Upon completion, you will have a portfolio with which to demonstrate your ske skills in an assessment. Contact fdo for this. Please note that the assessment is NOT included in the training - you need to enroll separately by registering via this link.
